It’s official: we’re expanding our footprint to the city of McKinney, TX! Taking up residence at 300 East Davis, Common Desk is excited to partner once again with landlord Workplace Hospitality to bring expansive coworking, office, and event space to Historic Downtown McKinney Square.
If you’re familiar with our brand, you know that our love of authenticity runs deep. McKinney, TX truly lives up to its tagline, “Unique by nature,” and we can’t wait to embrace every bit of its flavor in our workspace. Within walking distance from boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, community markets, parks, hills, and streams, Common Desk – McKinney Square makes it easy to stay local.

Our McKinney space will offer just over 34,000 square feet across two floors, including 6 conference rooms, 61 offices, 5 team suites, and wide-open shared space. A premium fitness center complete with locker rooms and three professionally-outfitted podcast/recording studios are just a few of the amenities we’re excited to offer to our members. Mid-day breathers will actually feel relaxing in the generous lounge areas on each floor, and the large, fully-equipped kitchen connected to a spacious outdoor patio will inspire great brainstorm sessions (we love snacks and sunlight). Common Desk’s craft coffee brand that you know and love, Fiction Coffee, will keep the building caffeinated with bottomless drip coffee, as well as specialty drink offerings from the espresso bar within the space. As comes standard with all of our spaces, other member benefits include wellness rooms, private chat booths, generous parking, and flexible lounge space for events and meetups.
Common Desk’s in-house design team will add to the existing buildout to incorporate the uniqueness of Historic McKinney Square into the location. With an open, ornamental stairway through the center of the building, members will have ample space to roam in a spacious environment and switch up their daily work area with ease. Streamline meetings with conference room bookings and quickly RSVP to community events with the Common Desk app, work your way at a sit-stand desk, have a friendly chat with our dedicated hospitality staff, and appreciate the local art installations surrounding the space: it’s all in a day’s work at Common Desk – McKinney Square.
