When sisters Brianna and Allison Lopez started ABH Pros in 2023, the company only had two employees: them.
Three years later, the family-owned commercial contracting and facility services company has grown to a team of 10, is preparing to welcome its 11th employee in September, and supports commercial and municipal work across seven states.
ABH Pros moved into Common Desk – Travis Park Plaza in December 2025 with one private office. Less than a year later, the team occupies three adjoining offices in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Their expansion only tells part of the story. The rest is about two sisters with different strengths, an intentionally built team structure, and a Texas-born company preparing for its biggest chapter to date.
A Family Business Built from Experience
ABH Pros began after Allison spent years helping run a facility maintenance business and learning the industry from the inside out. She helped build its systems, supported its client relationships, and saw firsthand what strong execution required. When it was time to start something new, she knew she didn’t have to do it alone.
She asked her sister, Brianna, to build the next company with her. Their existing client relationships followed, giving ABH Pros an early foundation and the opportunity to prove itself through the quality of its work. Today, the company describes itself simply: family-owned, commercially driven, and built to deliver. That family connection is not just a line on the website. It shapes how Brianna and Allison lead.
“We’re kind of like yin and yang,” Allison said.
Brianna leads procurement and compliance, including solicitations, bid strategy, and the operational standards behind competitive contract work. Allison oversees operations and client strategy, connecting field teams, technology, systems, and client relationships to keep projects moving.
One is naturally analytical. The other brings a more creative, people-centered perspective. Together, they’ve built a full-circle leadership team capable of managing complex work without losing the hands-on involvement that helped launch the company.
San Antonio and Beyond
While San Antonio remains ABH Pros’ home base, their business now reaches well beyond South Texas.
The company operates across seven states, with a strong presence in Texas and the Northeast, including Maryland, Virginia, and the Washington, D.C. metro area. Its work spans commercial contracting, facility maintenance and program management, landscaping, and municipal and public-sector services.
One of its largest facility maintenance relationships is with 7-Eleven, supported by a team dedicated to business in the Northeast. Strong word of mouth in that market helped ABH Pros build the experience and reputation needed to pursue new work in South and Central Texas. Closer to home, the company secured a five-year landscaping contract with the City of Austin covering city-owned properties and sites. Brianna, who leads much of the company’s bid and solicitation work, calls the win a personal “gemstone.”
“It was a really huge win for us… That opened up our internal team to expand to a few more people.”
ABH Pros’ active and recent project experience also includes multi-state facility maintenance and HVAC work for 7-Eleven, T-Mobile’s Magenta Wash Program in Iowa, a Dollar Tree store refresh program in Texas, and university and healthcare projects with Turner Construction.
While the client list is impressive, the bigger accomplishment is the operating structure behind it. Multi-location contracts require disciplined vendor coordination, documentation, compliance, and consistent project delivery. Brianna and Allison have built those systems while keeping the company lean and their leadership close to the work.
Why Downtown San Antonio Mattered
As the business grew, the sisters wanted an office that felt connected to the city they call home.
“We’re downtowners ourselves,” Allison said. “We wanted to have that downtown, big-city work vibe.”
Common Desk – Travis Park Plaza had already caught their attention on social media. When the sisters toured the space, the downtown location, professional atmosphere, and energy of the community made the decision easy. They signed for their first office the same day.
For ABH Pros, being in downtown San Antonio is both practical and personal. The company can host clients in a polished setting, move easily between private offices and conference rooms, and take advantage of the restaurants, bars, and landmarks surrounding Travis Park.
It also gives a growing local business a visible place in the center of its hometown.
“The biggest amenity is really the location. When we have clients, we have easy access to bars and restaurants, and it just makes it really easy to host.”
An Office that Expanded with the Team
ABH Pros initially needed one private office. As the team grew, the company added the offices on either side, creating a three-office footprint without having to uproot the business or leave the environment they already loved.
The conference rooms were especially valuable before the expansion, giving employees space for calls, meetings, and focused work as the original office became busier. The Common Desk team and the overall design of the space have remained equally important.
“We’ve been in other coworking spaces before, and there’s nothing particularly wrong with them, but the moment we walked in here, the staff, the people, and the location were just perfect for us.”
Even while exploring workspace options as ABH Pros expands its presence in Austin, the sisters keep measuring what they see against their San Antonio office.
“Nothing really compares to this office,” Allison said.
That’s the value of a flexible office that works as intended. The workspace doesn’t become the story. It simply keeps pace with the people writing theirs.
Growing the Company Without Losing the Culture
ABH Pros’ next hire will bring the team to 11 in September. After that, Brianna and Allison plan to pause hiring and focus on growing revenue with the team they’ve built.
The decision is intentional. They want a company where people stay busy and challenged without making burnout the price of growth. The team typically works from the office from 10 a.m. to 3 or 4 p.m., a schedule designed to protect work-life balance while maintaining high expectations for client service and delivery.
That culture has earned real loyalty from employees. Brianna recalled a recent conversation with a team member who told the sisters that the support they demonstrate makes employees want to give more in return. For the owners, that commitment is one of the clearest signs that the company is growing in the right direction.
Revenue and contracts matter. So do the people doing the work. At Common Desk, that’s a motto and a workstyle we can easily get behind.
The Next Landmark: A Pink Crane
ABH Pros is still a young company, but Brianna and Allison aren’t thinking small.
They’re strengthening the business in Texas, building on their multi-state facility maintenance work, and exploring further growth in Austin. Over the next three years, they hope to move into larger-scale urban construction and leave a very visible mark on the San Antonio skyline.
Their goal is as specific as it is memorable: a pink ABH Pros construction crane in downtown San Antonio.
“Expect to see our name more,” Brianna said.
From two sisters to 11 team members, seven states, major commercial and municipal contracts, and three private offices at Common Desk, ABH Pros already has plenty of momentum behind that promise.
