Common Desk is joining Houston’s newest urban district, initiating and celebrating innovation in a collaborative culture
Introducing: The Ion
The Ion in Houston is revitalizing the historic Sears Building on Main Street with the vision of creating a district that fosters innovation and community. It promises to be a premier hub for Houston’s growing economy, making our decision to plant Common Desk’s third Houston location in this progressive building very simple. As always, we’re building our newest coworking space to match the energy, drive, and character of the surrounding neighborhood, and this one’s already buzzing with ingenuity. If you want to make The Ion your work base, sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date about when we open, what we’ll offer, and what it means to be a part of the Common Desk community!

Senior Community Manager - The Ion
Hello there! I’m Bobby and my role at Common Desk is the Senior Community Manager. What does that mean you say? Well, it’s a whole lot of everything. My days typically consist of providing exceptional service to our members and guests while also giving tours, making multiple cups of coffee (for myself, members and guests), and hosting some wicked cool activities. When I’m not at work, I’m usually taking long walks with my girlfriend and our two dogs or hanging online with friends gaming our butts off.
Tap into our other locations
Our coworking network is wide-open, which means when you become a member of one Common Desk location, you automatically gain access to all Common Desk spaces. Take a look at our other coworking locations, with more in Houston coming soon:
