As the coworking movement grows, the opportunity to travel and work globally does as well. With that being said, how can a globetrotter confidently find and select a reliable coworking space when hopping from one country to another? The League of Extraordinary Coworking Spaces (LExC, pronounced lex-see) exists to give members the chance to experience exceptional international coworking spaces.
LExC has a new site, lexc.co, which allows members of the coworking spaces who are affiliated with LExC to experience five free day passes per year at each of the LExC locations across the globe. Since being founded in 2011, LExC now has more than 30 different coworking brands and 60 different locations under its international umbrella. This unique ability to roam among various coworking locations makes LExC one of the largest coworking networks in the world.
As LExC continues to grow, each new space is only accepted after they are evaluated through a high set of standards. Therefore, no matter what LExC location you drop into, you’ll be able to rest easy knowing that the space is well managed, beautifully designed, and community-focused. You can also use these vetted spaces for no extra cost once you are a member at a LExC coworking affiliate.
The LExC organization is led by an elected group of independent operators whose spaces are members of LExC. LExC kicked off 2016 by electing a new president and executive committee to oversee the LExC brand and continue to grow the network. This executive committee is:
