At The Common Desk, we are always thinking about how to make coworking even better. One of the things that we know people sometimes miss about working in an office environment (one of the very few things) is the occasional company outing. Well, no more!
We decided that, besides an awesome atmosphere, all the conveniences of a modern office space, and a bunch of great people to work with, what our members needed was day at the Texas State Fair. So we provided.
Yesterday, The Common Desk Staff and a bunch of coworkers got together at the office for a pre-fair barbecue from our neighborhood Baker’s Ribs, then headed out en masse to Fair Park to partake of fried foods, try on fab cars, spin around on rides of questionable stability, and check out the local color.
Here’s the documentation of our first ever Common Desk Day at the State Fair of Texas.
Turns out The Common Desk is just a short walk from Fair Park, so we set out for an early afternoon stroll over to the Fair Grounds, discount-garnering Coca-Cola bottles in hand.
