Your favorite startup race is back! For the past 4 years, we’ve been showcasing the companies that you think are the most noteworthy startups across all of Dallas and Fort Worth, and we’re so excited to open submissions again for 2020! If there’s a startup that you’ve been itching to share the hype about, now’s your chance to let us know who they are and why you love them! If you need a refresher on what qualifies as a startup, don’t fret, we’ve got you covered:
A startup is a company that is in the first stage of its operations. These companies are often initially bankrolled by their entrepreneurial founders as they attempt to capitalize on developing a product or service for which they believe there is a demand. Due to limited revenue or high costs, most of these small-scale operations are not sustainable in the long term without additional funding from venture capitalists. – Investopedia
House Rules:
- The article’s features are based on the number of votes each startup receives, and the top spot will be awarded to the startup who gets the most votes!
- *This one’s new...* In order to spread the love and keep it fresh, we won’t be featuring any startups who have been featured on the list 2 previous times. So, tell us who the new startups on the block are!
- This blog is meant to showcase startups that are in our metroplex, so we’ll be checking to make sure that every startup submitted is actually local to DFW. So, don’t submit anyone outside of the city! If you’re based in ATX, head over to our Hottest Startups of ATX blog to submit startups in Austin!
- You’re welcome to vote for more than one startup, but please don’t vote for the same startup multiple times. We count unique votes from unique users, not total number of votes.
And that’s it! Cast your vote, then share with your friends, family, and coworkers so they know to vote, too! Heads up: polls will close at 5pm on Friday, March 13th. May the best startups win!
