Deck the Hall Street 2019

Son of a nutcracker! Deck the Hall Street–Dallas’s original popup holiday coffee shop–is back for year 3 to serve up coffee, Christmas, and cheer to all of DFW this holiday season!

Some of you may have been around since the very beginning, but for those of you who are experiencing the glory that is Deck the Hall Street for the very first time, we thought we’d share the story of how this Christmas wonderland all began in the first place. Read on to get the backstory behind DTHS, as well as a look at this year’s holiday menu and whimsical decor!

The story of how it all began

It all started when one of our creative staff members, Alaethea, approached our entire team with a crazy idea after she heard we were officially taking ownership of Fiction Coffee Shop (previously Method Coffee). We were all trying to brainstorm what to do with the shop for the month of December while we began to transition it into a new brand, and that’s when Alaethea had the idea of the century: “What if we turn it into a pop-up Christmas coffee shop, a real-life Christmas wonderland unlike anything Dallas has ever seen?” Needless to say, we were all instantly on board.

It took a tiny army to achieve, but within 3 weeks, we had everything we needed in place to make Method Coffee’s flagship Ross and Hall location a tiny holiday haven. On Wednesday, December 6th, the Common Desk staff came together to transform the shop from floor to ceiling. From 3 pm to 12:30 am, our staff worked like Buddy the Elf to make the flip a reality. Then, 6 hours later, we were open for business as “Deck the Hall Street,” serving up tasty Christmas coffees, warm smiles, and insta-worthy moments for all.

The DTHS 2019 Holiday Coffee Menu

By now, you’ve probably heard about our “Falala-latte.” We can’t lie; we’ve heard people say, “This is the best latte I’ve ever had” on multiple occasions, and we believe everyone should experience it. It’s basically like Christmas in a cup.

However, the Falala-latte isn’t the only noteworthy coffee creation on the holiday menu. This year, we’ve also got drinks called the Christmas Morning Mocha, Peppermint Dreams, Run Run Brewdolph, O Christmas Tea, White Christmas Wassail, and Hohohot Cocoa. To save you time, check out the menu below in full!

Deck the Hall Street Coffee Shop is officially open to the public as of today! If you’re searching for a fun holiday event to do on your own or with your family, your friends, your significant other, or even your dog, then drop by Deck the Hall Street before the New Year!

Deck the Hall Street is the perfect place to get in the holiday spirit, capture your 2019 Christmas card, buy a quick and thoughtful gift for a loved one, write letters to Santa, and even adopt a puppy. Be sure to check Fiction Coffee’s Instagram throughout the course of the next month to stay in the loop on what fun and festive things Deck the Hall Street will be offering this season!

Come get your fill of custom holiday coffees, tidings of comfort and joy, Elf quotes, and all kinds of Christmas magic! We can’t wait to see you!

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!
