This is not just another place to work, but a place to grow and collaborate with fellow coworkers. Our open floor plan encourages collaboration and our classses allow us to learn from one another.
COMMON DESK is a Deep Ellum coworking community designed to revolutionize the way people work by combining the ambiance of a coffee shop with the functionality of a workspace.
We may be laid back, but don't cross us when it comes to the COMMON LAW:
- Be courteous of fellow coworkers. We have a quiet room for a reason.(Don't be that member.)
- Clean up after yourself and recycle! Help us work towards becoming a zero-waste community.
- Be careful what you Google (nothing illegal) and don't bog down our network.
- Never give your Common Card or access code to an unauthorized person. We won't be forgiving of this one.
- Don't touch the thermostat! If you need after hours heat or cooling, let us know!
Community
It's all in the name. Common Desk is a community first and a business second. We work independently, but share a passion, copy machine and our bicycles.
Innovation
By bringing together forward-thinking people, we encourage innovation through our creative community of entre- preneurs, startups, freelancers and large corporations.
Openness
Common Desk loves the movement towards a shared economy. Open- ness is not only a big part of our design, it's also a shared mindset of our community. I guess you could say we are open-minded.
Sustainability
We really hate hyperconsumption. Our furniture and fixtures are reclaimed and through our recycling program, we aim to become a zero waste community.
