COMMON DESK opened in the fall of 2012 with a vision to provide an unique and inspiring work space for freelancers, startups, and artists to begin working together in an inspiring new way. Because of its artistic and entrepreneurial reputation, Deep Ellum provided the perfect neighborhood to begin a coworking space centered around community, collaboration, and innovation. Over the past year, Common Desk has been blessed by a community that grew from 15 original core members, to over 100 members one year later. As the Dallas startup and technology community matures, Common Desk is committed to do the same.

Little things like after work happy hours, ping pong tournaments, and member lead lunch and learns have been the recipe to help make 100 small companies feel like one large community.

This is not just a place to work, but a place to meet friends, potential partners, and investors. Our unique working environment was designed to bring people together and our staff works hard to make sure that happens.

We believe innovation is the natural progression for a diverse group of forward thinking, entrepreneurial people that are passionate about new ventures and helping each other succeed.
